4. AI-Generated Content

ComicAI uses artificial intelligence to generate comic content based on your inputs. When you use our AI features:

• Generated content is stored in association with your account
• We do not use your personal creative inputs to train AI models without consent
• You may delete your generated content at any time through the App

5. Photo and Character Reference Data

When you use Comic AI, you may voluntarily provide photos from your camera or photo library to create comic book characters. Here is how we handle this data:

Collection

We collect photos that you choose to upload as character references. This is entirely voluntary — you may also select from preset character templates without providing any personal photos.

Processing

Your uploaded photos are compressed on your device before being sent to our servers. Our AI service analyzes the photo to extract general physical descriptors (such as hair color, eye color, skin tone, and distinguishing features like glasses or facial hair) solely to maintain visual consistency of your comic character across generated panels. We do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or create facial geometry templates.

Storage

Character reference photos and derived physical descriptions are stored in our secure database (Convex) and cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for the purpose of generating and displaying your comic content.

Third-Party Processing

Photos are sent to AI processing services (OpenAI API for physical feature description, and image generation services for comic creation) under their respective data processing agreements. We do not sell or share your photos with third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Retention and Deletion

Your photos and derived character data are retained as long as the associated comic project or saved character exists. You can delete saved characters and their associated reference photos at any time from the Character Library within the app. Since Comic AI uses anonymous device-based identification with no account creation, uninstalling the app removes all local data. You may also request deletion of your server-side data by contacting us at mustafakendiguzel@gmail.com.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the App (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
